Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day medical clinic operations by supervising registered nurses and medical assistants, managing supply logistics, and handling patient feedback. Coordinate smooth clinic functioning with Site Medical Director and Operations Director while delivering direct and telephonic nursing services in accordance with the RN scope of practice. Delegate tasks to assistive personnel, conduct daily work supervision through direct observation and chart reviews, and schedule patient visits based on acuity. Document telecommunications, incoming and outgoing calls, and complete physical assessments to prepare patients for examination or treatment. Collaborate with nutritionists, clinicians, pharmacy, and mental health teams to assess patient status and implement care plans. Meet weekly with site leadership and monthly with Lead RNs to ensure continuity of care and provide performance feedback.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing
- One year of nursing leadership in an ambulatory or acute care setting
- Significant related experience with populations served may substitute for above requirement
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to work with computers in word processing, and database applications preferred
