Job Summary
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless network infrastructure while managing Cisco, Meraki, and F5 security appliances. Monitor performance to ensure high availability, enforce network policies, and collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement enterprise-wide firewall rules and compliance standards. Design and operate data center facilities and cloud environments on AWS and Azure, utilizing JIRA for documentation. Requires 7+ years in IT network infrastructure and 2+ years in cloud systems. Full-time role in the United States with competitive compensation.
Required Qualifications
- 7 + years of experience in IT Network Infrastructure management
- Minimum of 2 years comprehensive knowledge & technical experience of cloud systems (preferably AWS), deployment business systems, server technology, storage systems, information security and/or related data center technologies
- Proven hands-on experience with the following technologies and practices: Cisco Technologies: Routers, switches, firewalls, and network security solutions
- Proven hands-on experience with the following technologies and practices: F5 LTM (Local Traffic Manager): Load balancing and traffic management
- Proven hands-on experience with the following technologies and practices: Cisco and Meraki Firewalls: Next-generation firewall administration, including threat management and VPN configuration
- Proven hands-on experience with the following technologies and practices: Data Center Facilities: Designing, implementing and operating
- Proven hands-on experience with the following technologies and practices: Cloud platforms (AWS & Azure) environments: Designing, implementing and operating
- Previous experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar ticket tracking and documentation system
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of autonomy
