Job Summary
Lead MST therapist provides supervision backup, training of new therapists, and leads group supervision; carries small caseload (4–5 families) for in-house family counseling and crisis intervention; conducts MST assessments and designs cognitive behavioral interventions for youth and families; collaborates with psychiatrists, schools, clinics, DOP, and pro-social programs; advocates for families at hospital, court or probation meetings; participates in weekly group and individual supervision; some remote flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience with an evidence-based treatment model, ideally with MST or an MST adaptation
- Licensed mental health professional: LMSW, LMFT, MHC, or related
- Previous experience with family therapy, or in home counseling, to youth and their families
- Flexible work schedule. Some evening and occasional weekend work is required
- Ability to handle a high work load and adhere to program deadlines with high quality written documentation
- Knowledge and experience in the Juvenile Justice System a plus as well as experience in a preventive ACS program desired
