LEAD MST-PSYCHIATRIC THERAPIST (Multisystemic Therapy)

Job Summary
Review case summaries, offer clinical support to MST therapists, and lead group supervision and consultation. Conduct MST assessments, design cognitive behavioral interventions, and provide in-house family counseling and crisis intervention for 4-5 families. Assist with training new therapists and collaborate with stakeholders including psychiatrists, schools, and the Department of Corrections. Advocate for families by attending hospital, court, or probation meetings. Participate in weekly group and individual supervision. Some remote flexibility is available. Evening and occasional weekend work is required. This role supports the clinical supervisor and utilizes evidence-based modalities within a team environment focused on youth and family growth.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience with an evidence-based treatment model
- Licensed mental health professional: LMSW, LMFT, MHC, or related
- Previous experience with family therapy, or in home counseling, to youth and their families
- Flexible work schedule
- Ability to handle a high work load and adhere to program deadlines with high quality written documentation
- Master's degree
- Some evening and occasional weekend work
Desired Qualifications
- ideally with MST or an MST adaptation
- Knowledge and experience in the Juvenile Justice System
- experience in a preventive ACS program
- MSW, MFT, MHC or related degree
- Bilingual
- Be team players
- Have a strong sensitivity to cultural differences present among staff and clients within our organization
- Possess a strong belief in people's ability to grow and change; forge a mutually respectful partnership with persons served and their families
- Ability to set limits and maintain helping role of practitioner and to intervene appropriately
