Job Summary
As a Lead MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for the overall daily operation of the MRI Department, overseeing MRI staff, scheduling, and ensuring high-quality services. Responsibilities include developing procedures and protocols, consulting with radiologists, managing equipment maintenance, and maintaining compliance with ACR accreditation standards. The role requires overseeing staff training and performance appraisals while managing departmental budgets and implementing cost-saving initiatives. A valid MRI registry with ARRT, BLS certification, and three years of MRI experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a (JRCERT) accredited Radiologic Technology recognized by ARRT
- Minimum three (3) years of MRI experience
- Strong leadership ability
- Good organizational skills
- Independent and critical thinking skills
- Sound judgment
- Knowledge of legal aspects and liability of nursing practice
- Strong ability to communicate complex topics
