Job Summary
Fabricate, quality-check, and deliver assigned tooling on time by coordinating jobs with NC, EDM, and mold designers to establish build methodologies. Operate hand and power tools to produce molds while maintaining high standards, then review completed work with Engineering and Tooling Managers to identify improvements. Coordinate new tooling with specialty departments, report changes or mistakes promptly, and learn CAD software to enhance planning. Work unsupervised in a team setting to ensure all deliveries are met.
Required Qualifications
- extensive overall knowledge of plastic injection molds
- thorough expertise in all the skills, techniques and technologies
- Minimum 5 Years as Lead Moldmaker
- Ability to operate a wide variety of hand and power tools
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Must be able to meet deadlines
- Ability to operate forklift when trained and certified
