Job Summary
Conduct mobile phlebotomy visits at patient homes, long-term care facilities, and other specified locations to collect blood samples for diagnostic testing. Safely transport collected specimens to the laboratory following fleet policy and storage guidelines. Maintain and calibrate equipment, manage supply ordering with Logistics, and ensure strict adherence to infection control and biohazard disposal protocols. Label and document all samples accurately while communicating with patients, providers, and the dispatch team. Train and guide a team of phlebotomists on MCL processes, systems, and compassionate care standards. Maintain compliance with industry regulations and work independently while managing time efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Phlebotomist with a valid state license and any additional required certifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Clean driving record
- Ability to travel to various locations
- Strong understanding of venipuncture techniques, blood collection, and safety protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing schedules
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and electronic documentation
- Strong Listening and Communication Skills, both oral and written
- Leadership Competencies: ability to lead and develop others

- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist, particularly in a mobile or in-home care setting
