Job Summary
Lead Mitigation Technician leads emergency restoration projects for residential/commercial properties affected by fire, water, mold, sewer, and weather events. You manage the crew, set safety and quality standards, perform and supervise water extraction and structural drying per IICRC standards, develop drying plans, monitor moisture goals, safely remove damaged materials, decontaminate and deodorize spaces, coordinate with the Contents Division for salvage, document job progress with moisture readings and photos, communicate with clients/adjusters/internal teams, maintain a clean and safe site, train and mentor Mitigation Technicians, and ensure proper equipment setup and usage. Strong leadership, hands-on technical skills, and a customer-service mindset are essential; experience with PSA and industry software is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- IICRC WRT certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Prior experience in restoration, mitigation, or construction
- Demonstrated ability to lead a crew and manage job site workflow
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in varying environments
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Strong social awareness and customer service mindset
- Acceptable driving record
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to navigate Microsoft Teams and complete onsite documentation using a smartphone and industry software (Proven Jobs, Encircle, Docusketch)
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive, solution-focused attitude
