Job Summary
Lead Mitigation Technician leads emergency restoration projects for families and businesses affected by fire, water, mold, sewer, and storm damage. You will supervise mitigation crews on residential and commercial job sites, respond to emergency mitigation calls, perform water extraction and structural drying, develop drying plans, decontaminate spaces, coordinate with the Contents Division for salvage, document progress with photos and moisture readings, communicate with clients and internal teams, maintain safe job sites, and mentor Mitigation Technicians to uphold quality and safety standards. The role requires IICRC WRT certification (or immediate willingness), hands-on leadership, proficiency with tools, physical stamina, strong communication, and the ability to document work using industry software.
Required Qualifications
- IICRC WRT certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Prior experience in restoration, mitigation, or construction
- Demonstrated ability to lead a crew and manage job site workflow
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in varying environments
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Strong social awareness and customer service mindset
- Acceptable driving record
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to navigate Microsoft Teams and complete onsite documentation using a smartphone and industry software (Proven Jobs, Encircle, Docusketch)
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive, solution-focused attitude
