Job Summary
Lead Mitigation Technician (Crew Chief Level) to lead emergency restoration projects for fire, water, mold, and storm damage. Responsibilities include leading and supervising mitigation crews on residential and commercial sites, responding to emergency mitigation calls, performing water extraction and structural drying per IICRC standards, developing drying plans, removing damaged materials, decontaminating spaces, collaborating with the Contents Division to pack/store salvageable items, documenting job progress with photos and moisture readings using PSA and other software, communicating with clients/adjusters/internal teams, maintaining a safe and organized job site, ensuring proper tool setup and storage, and training/mentoring technicians to uphold quality and safety standards. Requires IICRC WRT (or willingness to obtain), leadership experience, tool proficiency, physical ability, strong communication, and reliable attendance. Preferred ASD certification and PSA/Encircle/Docusketch experience.
Required Qualifications
- IICRC WRT certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Prior experience in restoration, mitigation, or construction
- Demonstrated ability to lead a crew and manage job site workflow
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in varying environments
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Acceptable driving record
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to navigate Microsoft Teams and complete onsite documentation using a smartphone and industry software (Proven Jobs, Encircle, Docusketch)
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive, solution-focused attitude
