Job Summary
Lead oversees the day-to-day cleaning operations and quality programs of specific accounts or group sites. Responsibilities include coordinating activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, directing staff, evaluating performance, identifying training needs, maintaining records and reports, ensuring proper labor relations and employment conditions, monitoring crew coverage and adherence to directives, and handling timekeeping and labor-law compliance. Requires high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) and at least 1 year in cleaning/janitorial, with familiarity in safety, equipment use, scheduling, and training. Ability to read and write simple communications and present information to customers and employees is needed. This role emphasizes supervision, organizational skills, and adherence to standard procedures across facilities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1 year of experience in the cleaning and/or janitorial arenas
- Versed in safety requirements, equipment use, scheduling and training
