Job Summary
Coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing subordinate employees for specific accounts or group sites. Evaluate employee performance through completed work reviews, identify training needs, and ensure proper labor relations and compliance. Maintain records, prepare reports, and manage employee paid time off while performing inventories as assigned. Conduct rounds to verify crew coverage, assign special cleaning instructions, and ascertain compliance with directives. Requires close vision, color vision, and depth perception. Full-time Monday through Friday schedule with hours varying based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one-year related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1 year of experience in the cleaning and/or janitorial arenas
- Versed in safety requirements, equipment use, scheduling and training
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables

- Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships)
- Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
