Lead Merchandiser

Job Summary
Lead Merchandiser responsible for in-store support and merchandising for off premise liquor and wine sales, including stocking shelves, building displays, installing POS, rotating stock, training new merchandisers, scheduling needs, and providing delivery support. Requires coordinating with sales teams, maintaining quality assurance and product rotation on date-sensitive items, and maintaining POS materials and displays in store; candidate should be proficient in English, customer service, merchandising, inventory management, and able to work flexible hours. Will lead when the Merchandiser Manager is on PTO and participate in interviews and selection processes for new hires; candidate must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and have reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D) required
- One year of related field experience preferred (distribution, hospitality, supplier, or beverage industry)
- Customer service experience required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- A valid driver’s license and good driving record is required
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary
