Job Summary
Manage daily department operations by leading start-up meetings, coordinating team assignments, and controlling workflow to meet production goals. Direct a team of associates through training, productivity reporting, and error feedback while conducting safety audits and maintaining a clean work environment. Resolve escalations, handle weekly incident reports, and create data-driven reports using MS Office, CCUI, Crystal Reports, and Qlikview to drive continuous improvement. This onsite role in Tracy, CA requires balancing resources to ensure deadlines are met and supporting department housekeeping.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in distribution, manufacturing, or retail environment
- In lieu of distribution, manufacturing or retail environment experience, 5 years of progressive work experience
- This is an onsite and in office role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and be extremely detailed while performing all tasks and reports
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must
- Experience working with WMOS, Qlikview, and Yard View
- Able to bend, reach, squat, and climb stairs/ladders
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Comfortable walking/standing 90% of the day
Desired Qualifications
- College or certificate in logistics, distribution, or manufacturing
- At least 4 years of supervisory experience in distribution or manufacturing environment
- At least 1 years of experience working knowledge of MS Access
