Job Summary
Supervise laboratory staff and provide direction for personnel when the Laboratory Director or Manager is absent. Ensure accurate analysis of specimens across Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology/Serology, Urinalysis, Limited Microbiology, point-of-care testing, and phlebotomy while maintaining excellent patient care and customer service. Requires a Bachelor's degree in medical technology, 3–5 years of clinical laboratory experience, and ASCP certification. Full-time day shift with on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related science from an accredited college or university
- 3 –5 years in clinical laboratory
- ASCP or equivalent certification
- Knowledge and skills to perform procedures in Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology/Serology, Urinalysis, Limited Microbiology, point-of-care, Phlebotomy, and administrative skills
