Job Summary
Conduct regular quality assurance testing of radiotherapy equipment, perform dosimetric calibration, and maintain compliance with PA radiation safety and licensing regulations. Provide routine clinical support and implement 4DCT and gated radiation therapy protocols using Varian Eclipse TPS and ARIA EMR. Work under the full support of the UPMC Medical Physics Division, which includes 30+ physicists across a network of over 60 locations. Opportunity to work 1-2 days from home while living within commuting distance of Johnstown.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Physics or Medical Physics
- Must meet qualified expert criteria defined by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and/or Pennsylvania State regulatory agency
- Opportunity to work 1-2 days from home but must live within commuting distance of Johnstown
Desired Qualifications
- ABR/ABMP Certification in Therapeutic Radiological Physics or Therapy Medical Physics
