Job Summary
Lead the day-to-day operations of the clinic by managing scheduling, assigning work duties, and overseeing hiring and training efforts. Direct and retain medical assistant staff while modeling clinical skills, performing specialized procedures, and serving as a clinical preceptor to address skill deficiencies. Advise staff on problem-solving patient concerns and address issues related to clinic operations to maintain high-quality care. Foster a collaborative environment that promotes employee engagement and reinforces established expectations from management.

- Successfully performs the responsibilities of a Senior Medical Assistant
- Leads the day to day work and productivity of patient care staff
- Advise and assist staff on problem solving patient/customer concerns
- address issues associated with clinic operations
- Performs specialized medical procedures of a routine nature
- Serves as clinical preceptor to enhance training and improve any skill deficiency amongst staff
- Aids management in a variety of areas such as but not limited to scheduling, daily work assignments, hiring, training, employee engagement, performance management, identifying areas for service or operational improvement, and reinforcing established expectations from management, and scheduling
- Certification
- 2 years of tenure with OSUP
- one year being in a Senior role
- A minimum of 7 years prior MA experience
- 2 Years of tenure with OSUP
- one year being in a Senior role
- 2 years Certification
- 7 years of Medical Assistant Overall experience
- Prior experience working in a preceptor designation
Desired Qualifications
- Current BLS Certification
- Experience with EMR
- Medical Assistant Certification
