Job Summary
Perform all aspects of Associate MA (MA I), Medical Assistant (MA II), and Senior MA (MA III) roles while assisting licensed practitioners in providing patient care. Oversee ambassadors, change agents, quality champions, and preceptors within the clinic. Maintain discretion when handling confidential data in a fast-paced environment. Requires three years of medical assisting experience in a clinic setting and National Provider BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Full-time day shift at the Plastic Surgery clinic in Eureka, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
- Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
- Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- 3 years of Medical assisting experience in clinic setting
- 3 years of Experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion
- 6 months of working experience in a PSJH clinic within the last 3 years
- 18 months experience in a Lead MA role in a clinical setting
Desired Qualifications
- National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
