Job Summary
Lead the day-to-day operations and productivity of patient care staff at our outpatient centers. Successfully perform senior medical assistant duties, including specialized routine procedures, while advising staff on problem-solving patient concerns and addressing clinic operational issues. Model, train, and promote high-functioning clinical support, serving as a clinical preceptor to enhance staff skills and address deficiencies. Aids management in scheduling, daily assignments, hiring, training, employee engagement, performance management, and identifying areas for service or operational improvement. Requires Medical Assistant certification and experience with EMR.
Required Qualifications
- Meets all Medical Assistant KSA's
- 2 years Certification
- 7 years of Medical Assistant Overall experience
- 2 years of tenure with OSUP
- one year being in a Senior role
- A minimum of 7 years prior MA experience
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a preceptor designation
- Current BLS Certification
- Experience with EMR
- Medical Assistant Certification
