Job Summary
Lead day-to-day clinic operations by performing senior medical assistant duties, directing patient care staff productivity, and advising on problem-solving for patient concerns. Model and train clinical support staff to enhance skills, serve as a clinical preceptor, and address operational issues including scheduling, hiring, and performance management. Advise management on identifying service improvements and reinforcing expectations while fostering a collaborative environment. Requires Medical Assistant certification and 2 years of tenure with OSUP.
Required Qualifications
- Meets all Medical Assistant KSA's
- Certification
- 2 years of tenure with OSUP
- one year being in a Senior role
- A minimum of 7 years prior MA experience
- 2 Years Certification
- 7 years of Medical Assistant Overall experience
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a preceptor designation
- Current BLS Certification
- Experience with EMR
- Medical Assistant Certification
