Job Summary
Lead the work of Executive Health Clinicians by facilitating efficient patient flow, escorting patients to exam rooms, obtaining vital signs, and documenting visit information. Train and orient new medical assistants, monitor policies to suggest operational changes, and maintain clean, safe patient care areas. Assist practitioners with procedures including electrocardiograms, venipuncture, and immunizations while ensuring equipment is stocked and sterilized. Respond to staff needs, prioritize tasks, and safeguard patient confidentiality throughout the clinic. Schedule is Monday through Friday at the Glenview clinic with flexibility required for work hours.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for State of employment
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) licensure in Illinois
- A Medical Assistant (MA) with current certification in one of the 5 eligible certification bodies: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA), or National Registered C...
- Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification
- Strong computer skills
