Lead Medical Assistant

Job Summary
Oversee daily clinic workflow by performing pre-operative screenings, obtaining vital signs, conducting phlebotomy, and assisting physicians during abortion procedures. Provide informed consent counseling, register patients, manage payments, and maintain accurate electronic medical records while ensuring compliance with OSHA and infection control protocols. Rotate between clinical and front desk duties to support efficient patient flow and exam room readiness. Maintain clinical supplies, inventory, and equipment. Full-time role (40 hours/week) with weekday shifts 9 AM–5 PM and required Saturday coverage. Requires Medical Assistant certification, CPR, and 2–3 years in women's health or family planning.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification or equivalent clinical experience
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- 2-3 years' experience in women's health, reproductive health, OB/GYN, family planning, or primary care
- Current CPR certification
- Saturday shift
- Full-time (approximately 40 hours per week)
- Weekdays with flexible scheduling between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM

- Bilingual - preferably Spanish, Portuguese or Haitian Creole
