Job Summary
Lead Medical Assistant role supporting a dermatology and aesthetic services practice. Duties include evaluating skin conditions, updating medical histories, recording dermatology-related symptoms, informing patients about treatments, conducting non-intrusive medical procedures, educating patients on preventive skin care, and screening patients and employees on entry. Requires strong customer service and computer literacy; dermatology experience preferred; CPR certification strongly preferred or obtainable within 4 weeks; MA certificate or completion/diploma from a medical vocational program preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Customer service experience
- Must be computer literate
- CPR certification strongly preferred or ability to obtain certification within 4 weeks of employment
- Ability to learn and understand medical terminology and vital signs
- At least one year of Dermatology experience preferred
- MA certificate of completion/diploma from medical vocational program preferred
