Job Summary
Oversee daily clinic workflow, delegate tasks to Medical Assistants and front desk coordinators, and ensure accurate completion of weekly spreadsheets, inventory QC, and patient scheduling. Manage team performance by reviewing call metrics, conducting QA evaluations, and facilitating training on new protocols. Handle staff inquiries, coordinate weekly staffing, and maintain compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards while driving process improvements. This role requires flexibility to travel between Westlake and Lakeway locations, a valid driver's license, and the ability to perform standard medical assistant duties including injections and vital signs.
Required Qualifications
- Must have advanced knowledge of medical terminology
- Must possess exceptional customer service skills
- Must be able to effectively and clearly communicate
- Must be able to multi-task and remain aware at all times
- Must be able to administer injections
- Must be able to manually take patient vitals
- Must possess the ability to maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public
- Must possess the ability to react calmly and effectively in a difficult or emergent situation
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, balance with full range of body motion including handling and lifting up to (20) lbs
- Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer/keyboard at (50) wpm, calculator, telephone, copier and fax
- Requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle to travel between clinics
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Flexibility to travel
- Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Desired Qualifications
- Completed Medical Assistant Program or Degree
- 1+ Years of Medical Assistant Experience
- 1+ Years of Medical Receptionist Experience
- Medical Assistant Certificate, vocational nurse license or related experience
- Current CPR Certification
