Job Summary
The Lead Medical Assistant provides general medical care under the direction of a licensed provider in an outpatient clinic setting. Key responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training Medical Assistant staff, obtaining patient vitals and medical history, administering medications and treatments, conducting laboratory tests, managing patient immunizations, and maintaining accurate documentation. This role ensures compliance with lab regulations and oversees laboratory operations in coordination with the Medical Director.
Required Qualifications
- Must have medical assistant or clinical experience
- Six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
