Job Summary
Lead Mechanical Maintenance Technician at Knauf Immingham Plant. Responsible for safe, efficient operation of process equipment; respond to stoppages or abnormalities for diagnosis, isolation and repairs; undertake planned preventative maintenance and improvement activities; follow Health and Safety procedures; demonstrate technical competence in assessing risks and implementing safeguards; engage with shift operational team to support plant performance; perform reactive maintenance to process interruptions; develop process knowledge in manufacturing processes; ensure high technical and professional standards; supervise others when required; record activities in SAP CMMS; participate in shift handovers and LOTOTO procedures; contribute to engineering department activities and provide cover as needed; activities include Root Cause Analysis, Condition Based Maintenance and Work Flow Planning.
Required Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Maintenance
