Lead Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Lead Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a Belgian industrial environment. Responsibilities include daily planning and coordination of maintenance for mechanical installations; developing preventive and corrective maintenance schedules; managing mechanical improvement projects (filters, bulk handling, silos, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, civil works, and steel structures); support during shutdowns and project scopes; leading a technical team of technicians and coordinators; ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; maintaining documentation and spare-parts management; and effective cross-department communication with production and engineering. Requires technical master’s degree and strong mechanical knowledge, with motivation and organizational skills for leadership and continuous improvement. Fluent Dutch with practical English skills; a pragmatic, hands-on mindset and a focus on teamwork and ROSI values (respect, open, together, initiative).
