Job Summary
Partner with clients to deliver innovative engineering solutions across complex industrial projects in mining, manufacturing, oil and gas, and energy sectors. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical problems, guide design reviews, and ensure high-quality mechanical design, procurement documentation, and 3D models. Support emerging engineers through coaching and mentoring while contributing to proposal preparation, engineering estimates, and capital cost assessments. This role requires RPEQ registration, strong mechanical engineering experience, and strategic thinking to align design solutions with operational needs and commercial drivers. Required Qualifications
- Relevant Mechanical Engineering qualifications
- RPEQ registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong mechanical engineering experience delivering industrial projects across mining, manufacturing, oil and gas, energy or related sectors
- The ability to think strategically, evaluate options and develop practical solutions that deliver value for clients and communities
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams across various phases of the project lifecycle, from concept development through to detailed design and construction support
- An understanding of industry standards, regulations and engineering practices relevant to industrial facilities
- Proven experience applying project delivery methodologies to achieve successful project outcomes
- A track record of delivering high-quality engineering solutions in technically complex environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts and influence key stakeholders
- A collaborative approach to leadership, fostering strong relationships across project teams and client organisations
