Lead Mechanical Engineer

Lead Mechanical Engineer in the Mission Critical Department focused on hyperscale data centers and related facilities. Independently perform and lead intermediate to advanced mechanical design and analyses (including load calculations and energy simulations) using AutoCAD and Revit to prepare drawings and specifications. Lead design teams, coordinate with Project Management, develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets, and review construction documents, shop drawings, RFIs, and punch lists. Responsible for pre-construction activities, coordinating with clients, and maintaining long-term client relationships. Will guide interns/engineering staff as needed and drive adoption of technology and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, forecasting, documentation, reporting, and project controls. Requires strong remote-work capability, effective communication, and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality design and construction documentation for data center environments.
