Job Summary
Lead vehicle and trailer mechanics on-site, performing major repairs, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and installing component parts to ensure proper performance and safety. Coordinate maintenance management scheduling, parts inventory, and preventative maintenance procedures while executing upgrades and modifications on coach systems. Conduct road calls for on-the-road repairs as needed and coach mechanics through daily work, monitoring their accuracy and completeness. Maintain a clean, organized work area and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, blueprints, and schematics. Requires high school diploma, three years of heavy equipment repair experience, and leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 or more years progressive experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance of vehicles
- Appropriate Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications
Desired Qualifications
- one year experience in a leadership capacity
