Job Summary

Lead Mechanic / Pipefitter to oversee installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of piping systems and mechanical equipment. Lead and supervise pipefitting and mechanical crews on job sites; install, repair, and maintain piping systems across industrial, commercial, and mechanical environments. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings; coordinate workflow, materials, and equipment needs. Troubleshoot mechanical and piping issues, ensure work meets company standards, project specifications, and safety requirements; perform inspections and preventative maintenance. Train and mentor team members; maintain accurate job documentation and reports; communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and customers.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years of pipefitting/mechanical experience
  • Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of piping systems, mechanical equipment, and hand/power tools
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • OSHA certification or additional trade certifications preferred
