Job Summary
Direct daily repairs and preventative maintenance on Tandem Axle International Tractors with Cummins engines and Dry Van Semi Trailers, including diagnostics, brake, clutch, A/C, and oil work. Lead and direct other Mechanics while helping develop and train new staff. Manage shop operations during the Fleet Maintenance Manager's absence. Maintain full knowledge of Diesel Mechanic diagnostics and repair facets. Perform assigned tasks including heavy lifting and standing on concrete floors for extended periods. Requires valid license, dependable transportation, and OSHA safety equipment compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Valid License and dependable transportation to work
- Pre-Screen Drug Test
- Will be required to wear OSHA regulated safety equipment
- You are able to carry, push and pull items of varying shapes, sizes, and weights up to 100lbs
- You are able to perform repetitive heavy lifting
- You are able to stand and work on concrete floors for extended periods of time
