Job Summary
Lead Mechanic to lead a team performing non-engine mechanical work on commercial vehicles at Best-One's AlignRite location. Responsibilities include supervising mechanics, performing alignments, brakes, suspensions, electrical, hydraulic, kingpins, fluid changes, and DOT inspections; manage parts inventory; create work orders; schedule and motivate staff. Requirements include six years of general mechanical experience with at least 3 years on commercial vehicles; tools and tool storage; POS software experience a plus; CDL a plus. Must maintain safety, reliability, and customer-focused service while adhering to company procedures and values.
Required Qualifications
- Six years of general mechanical work experience
- at least 3 years of experience with commercial vehicles
- Experience doing commercial vehicle alignments is a must
- Must have own tools and tool storage
- Experience with computer point of sale software is a plus
- Possessing a CDL is a plus
