Job Summary

Lead Mechanic oversees the maintenance tasks in the service, repair, and overhaul of aircraft to ensure airworthiness, and provides training and mentorship for an assigned function area. Responsible for reviewing customer and FAA paperwork to ensure proper maintenance updates and regulatory compliance, leading maintenance tasks within the lead’s rated scope, coordinating parts/materials, ensuring safety and quality, and enabling on-time delivery in coordination with other skill sets. The role includes directing on-the-job training, mentoring mechanics, driving process improvements, and ensuring adherence to ATS policies and Safety Management System requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of four (4) years’ recent commercial aircraft maintenance and/or MRO experience preferred.
  • Applicable Repairman, Airframe, or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification required.
