Lead, Meat

Lead meat department operations in a retail store, training and staffing associates to meet company standards and KPIs. Cut and weigh meats, review incoming orders for quality and quantity, manage inventory and ensure product freshness and proper storage. Assist Department Manager with scheduling, labor control, overtime, and payroll expenses; develop department forecasts and plans; maintain knowledge of products, promotions, and store policies. Maintain food safety and PPE guidelines, support a clean, well-stocked department, and participate in daily huddles. Ensure customer experience guidelines are followed and lead in meeting department and company goals, including production planning, quality control, and adherence to safety standards.
