Job Summary
Lead, coach, and collaborate with team members to deliver individualized instruction in group settings for K-12 students using the Mathnasium MethodTM. Assess student learning progress and engagement throughout sessions while communicating updates to parents and guardians. Teach both in-center and online utilizing digital educational materials and processes. Maintain proficiency with all instructional tools and terminology required for the curriculum. This part-time role offers consistent hours after school and on weekends within a supportive culture that provides continuous training on effective teaching methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for math and working with students
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn and be trained
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
- Ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities
- Must be able to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency
