Job Summary
Lead Material Handling Equipment Operator responsible for mentoring and training new material handlers and filling in for supervisors as needed. You’ll operate forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to move product within the warehouse, maintain a safe and clean workspace, and uphold safety practices. Role requires lifting up to 100 pounds, willingness to work 3rd shift (10:30pm–7:00am, Sunday–Thursday) in Pewaukee, WI, and ability to work overtime. Must have or obtain Material Handling Equipment Operator certification, pass a drug screen, and demonstrate basic English communication. Prior warehouse experience (12+ months) and adherence to safety procedures are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ months related experience in a warehouse environment
- Ability to safely operate Material Handling Equipment (e.g., forklift, cherry picker, turrets, electric pallet jack) as required
- Material Handling Equipment Operator certification or ability to obtain
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to lift, push or pull equipment/merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds
- Must be able to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift as Full-Time associate
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience (preferred)
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations
- Basic English language skills (verbal and written)
