Lead Material Handler Full Time 3rd Shift

Lead Material Handling Equipment Operator who mentors and trains new material handlers and fills in for supervisors as needed. You’ll move product within the warehouse using forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks, while maintaining a safe, clean workspace and adhering to safety procedures. The role supports Staples Supply Chain objectives and emphasizes safety culture, teamwork, and efficiency. Responsibilities include lifting, lowering, carrying product, stacking pallets, operating MHE, and modeling safe work practices. Requires the ability to become certified as a Material Handling Equipment Operator, ability to work in a warehouse with seasonal temperature variations, basic English communications, and willingness to perform overtime as needed. Preferred qualifications include High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience; 12+ months warehouse experience; ability to pass a drug screen; and willingness to work additional hours as a full-time associate.
