Job Summary
Lead Manufacturing Process Engineer responsible for technical leadership in diagnosing and resolving manufacturing issues within the cabin pressure controller cell in an ITAR-regulated aerospace environment. Role emphasizes disposition of non-conforming hardware, reading and interpreting mechanical prints, and cross-functional collaboration with program management and quality teams to resolve production/testing issues. Performs design of experiments (DOE) in RCCA actions, contributes to documentation/work instructions/reports, stays current with aerospace/high-reliability standards, and ensures ITAR/export-control compliance. Requires strong communication skills, practical mechanical experience, and ability to adapt to legacy hardware environments.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical prints and technical documentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
- Experience working with outflow control valves and assorted mechanical components
- Relevant experience from various educational/career paths; degree not strictly required if capability proven
- Experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, medical devices, or other high-reliability electronics manufacturing sectors is welcome but not required
- Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR (citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual)
