Lead, Manufacturing (Front End Nights)

Lead manufacturing operations for the Front End Nights shift in a BioMarin facility. Responsibilities include managing daily operations in the area with effective communication, troubleshooting, hands-on staff training, and coordinating with other Leads to ensure alignment. Ensure compliance with cGMP standards, support quality assurance/quality control, and procure essential goods and services to support manufacturing and distribution. Partner with Facilities, Validation, and Quality teams to complete scheduled activities, drive process improvements, and supervise staff while upholding department values. Capable of handling moderate-scale projects, contributing to process optimization, reviewing documentation (Batch Records, logbooks), and assisting with incorporation of new technologies and procedures. Must demonstrate strong process knowledge, experience with process automation, and the ability to write/update process documents. The role requires a background in biotechnology/manufacturing with 2+ years of experience and a B.A./B.S. (desired but not required); shift schedule is Sun/Tues-Sat, 6PM-7AM with rotating Saturdays.
