Job Summary
Lead Manufacturing Engineer for Space Ignition Systems provides manufacturing engineering support with a strong emphasis on safety, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities include driving production and development initiatives, applying structured problem solving to resolve issues and improve processes, handling material discrepancy reports and cost-out projects, and delivering measurable results through established processes and independent judgment. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and demonstrated experience in engineering or manufacturing, with strong communication, project management, and reliability in cross-functional environments. Eligible for relocation assistance and eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years’ experience in Engineering or Manufacturing)
