Job Summary
The Lead Man position at P&K Stone, LLC involves assisting the Mining Supervisor and Plant Manager in managing daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, and overseeing maintenance and production processes in aggregate material operations. Key responsibilities include promoting safety, organizing production schedules, analyzing quality control measures, and leading maintenance of plant equipment. Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the aggregate industry, strong leadership abilities, operational knowledge of mining practices and regulations, and exemplary interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of aggregate experience
- Knowledge of aggregates production and associated equipment and processes
Desired Qualifications
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills
- Operational knowledge of rock mining and MSHA regulations
- Interpersonal skills for effective communication and team building
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures with heavy equipment
- Strong track record of leading safety and health initiatives
