Job Summary
Lead Maintenance Technician for Depot Miami Apartments in Miami Beach, FL. You will perform building and property maintenance tasks including preventative maintenance, service requests, snow removal, grounds keeping, capital improvements, and turnover maintenance, while ensuring safety, quality standards, and resident satisfaction. Duties include inventory management, diagnosing and performing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, drywall, painting, roofing, siding, doors/locks, glass/screen repairs, flooring, tile work, fencing; ensuring safety and environmental policy compliance; conducting pre- and post-move inspections; and providing timely, professional service with on-call rotation. Requirements include HVAC/EPA Certification, a high school diploma or related vocational training, and experience with relevant trade tasks and tools; strong verbal/written communication and the ability to work a flexible on-call schedule. Required Qualifications
- HVAC/EPA Certification
- High school diploma or related Vocational Training and/or equivalent work experience
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Previous plumbing, electrical, appliance, mechanical, drywall repairs, carpentry and pool/spa maintenance experience
- Experience operating equipment & tools of the trade including but not limited to hand tools, power tools and riding equipment
- Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule with paid on call hours
