Job Summary
Oversee daily maintenance operations, supervise and schedule in-house and contracted staff, and lead turn-key unit make-readies. Manage preventative maintenance programs, property inspections, and safety compliance while responding to resident service requests. Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general facility issues; order supplies, manage inventory, and coordinate vendor bids. Mentor technicians and maintain thorough records of work orders and expenditures. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency coverage. Requires 2-5 years of residential maintenance experience, HVAC certification, and EPA credentials. Full-time Monday-Friday schedule with competitive hourly pay, medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2-5 years of residential/multifamily maintenance experience
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role
- HVAC certification (CFC/EPA universal)
- EPA certification
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check
- Ability to pass drug screening
- Ability to lift/move up to 50-60 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, climb stairs/ladders
- Comfortable working in confined spaces
- Comfortable working at heights
- Ability to perform outdoor tasks in varying weather conditions
- Full-time schedule typically Monday-Friday with rotating on-call nights and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational/trade education or technical certifications
- 2-3 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role
- CPO or other trade credentials
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, appliance repair, pool/spa, and general facility maintenance
- Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills
