Job Summary
Lead Maintenance Technician responsible for overseeing all on-site maintenance operations at Windsor Valley Apartments. Manages work orders, unit turnovers, and contractor performance; serves as primary on-site technical resource; ensures safety, functionality, and curb appeal; leads a maintenance team, assigns tasks, performs and supervises repairs across appliances, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting; oversees HVAC-related issues and after-hours on-call rotation; maintains inventory and resident relations; collaborates with the Community Manager to optimize property operations.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of apartment maintenance experience required
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of appliance repair, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting
- HVAC/CFC certification strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively
- Ability to read, interpret, and oversee contractor work scopes
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Physically capable of extensive mobility, lifting, and outdoor work
- Willingness to work weekends and participate in on-call rotation
