Job Summary
Lead Electromechanical Technician at First Quality Home Care Products in Salt Lake City, UT, responsible for day-to-day electrical and mechanical support of large industrial machines, providing leadership, organizing work, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment downtime, and completing work orders. Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, performing changeovers on large equipment, coordinating with other technicians, documenting actions and parts, and identifying safety/quality improvements. Requires knowledge of motors, wiring, and controls, ability to read equipment manuals and schematics, and ability to work in a cross-functional team with a focus on safety and quality. The role supports production processes and may involve evaluating new technologies and assisting engineers and production managers as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Associates in Electronics or Electromechanical Tech certification or Industrial Mechanic certification (preferred)
- 2-5 years of experience in high-speed manufacturing equipment (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience maintaining large industrial machines (preferred)
