Lead Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, including press brakes, punch presses, CNC machines, welders, air compressors, and HVAC systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to identify and resolve malfunctions, while assisting with installations, modifications, and relocations. Maintain plumbing and electrical systems, conduct general facility repairs, and follow strict safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout and OSHA regulations. Complete accurate documentation, participate in root cause analysis, and inspect work for safety and assembly standards. Maintain service histories and adjust schedules to support production demands.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience maintaining metal fabrication equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, pneumatic diagrams, and machine drawings
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Experience troubleshooting electrical systems, including single-phase and three-phase systems up to 480V
- Working knowledge of plumbing, basic construction, and facility maintenance
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Flexibility to work overtime or adjust schedules based on production needs
