Job Summary
Lead Maintenance Technician responsible for overseeing routine and preventative maintenance across buildings; diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems; operate and monitor building automation systems (BMS) and ensure safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO); supervise maintenance staff, manage work orders, and oversee Tenant Improvement (TI) projects; assist with procurement and budgeting for maintenance activities; respond to after-hours emergencies and coordinate with vendors/contractors to maintain safe, efficient facilities.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in building maintenance, facilities, or property operations
- Strong working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Experience with building automation systems (BMS) and preventative maintenance programs preferred
- Familiarity with cooling towers, pneumatic systems, and general commercial building systems
- Ability to read and interpret basic technical diagrams and manuals
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred
