Job Summary
Lead Maintenance Technician Lead at our Jefferson City, MO location, supervising a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring optimal machine performance, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to maximize uptime and efficiency. Responsibilities include assigning tasks, training and developing team members, troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, reading electrical prints and machine schematics, executing lock out/tag out procedures on injection and related equipment, collaborating with equipment suppliers to identify root causes, performing daily checks per preventive maintenance schedules, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime. Forklift, man lift, and crane operation knowledge is valued and training is provided. The role requires injecting molding equipment maintenance expertise and the ability to read, write, and speak English.
Required Qualifications
- Prior Maintenance Technician experience required
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Knowledge of basic math skills
- Must demonstrate good judgment and decision-making ability
- Must possess interpersonal skills and be able to communicate on all levels
- Must have a valid driver’s license, forklift experience or willing to learn
- Has basic ability in welding; brazing; soldering, or silver brazing; refrigeration repair; machine shop training; fabrication in plastic; electronic repair; and/or mechanical engine repair, transmission repair, robotics
