Job Summary
Lead Maintenance at Hive Apartments oversees the maintenance team and contractors, supervising and developing staff to ensure timely, high-quality turns and preventative maintenance. Responsibilities include supervising and coaching a maintenance crew, overseeing contract work, ensuring adherence to turn processes, maintaining maintenance records, and performing skilled electrical and HVAC maintenance and repairs. The role requires EPA certification (Type II or Universal), a valid driver license with auto liability insurance, and a willingness to work a rotating on-call schedule. The position emphasizes customer service, team leadership, and operational excellence, with hours 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Monday–Friday and adjusted weekend coverage as needed; on-site physical demands include long hours standing and lifting up to 50–100 pounds. Required Qualifications
- Valid Type II EPA Certification or Universal EPA Certification
- Valid driver license and auto liability insurance
- Reliability transportation

- Proven ability to perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and electrical systems
- Ability to perform skilled electrical work and HVAC repairs
